GYG Live raises over £1000 for youth counselling

The finale performance of the night

Saturday 20 November saw more than 30 young people perform at our final live GYG event.

A huge thanks goes to all the councillors who came along to support the young performers.

The event replaces our annual showcase at The Woodville, which helps our young people raise funds for the free mental health counselling service we offer. This year the live shows have helped raise more than £1000 for the service, while giving talented young people a platform to perform to live audiences.

The young people spend months learning and rehearsing their performances, with the help of our vocal coaches and youth team.
