Musical Theatre Themed Showcase raises fund for Youth Service

Friday evening saw more than 20 young people perform live to a packed audience of family and friends in the Methodist Church, the evening raised approx. £200 in donations.  

The events performances were all themed around musicals from the West End and Broadway and film, with songs such as This Is Me from Greatest Showman to I Will Always Love You from The Bodyguard.  

The young people not only sang but played instruments including the flute, drums to accompany the singers. Our young media team documented the event putting into practice the photography skills they have been learning.  

The performance was produced by two professional singers and actors; Olivier Award Winner Leanne Jones and Charlotte Flights, who lead our weekly youth workshops.
