New Committee appointed

The GYG Committee have voted for their new chair, vice chair, secretary, and vice secretary.

Past GYG chairs Mason and Jamal attended to congratulate those newly appointed, and many of our GYG Committee members were able to attend this celebration.

Those appointed (see image) include, left to right, Manahil (Chair), Jessica (Vice Chair), Micha (Secretary) and Liam (Vice Secretary).

What does the committee do?

The committee steer the work that GYG does, they represent the voices of young people in the local area and they raise funds for their services, which includes Active Listening, our free youth counselling service.

If you're aged 11 - 19 years (up-to 25 with additional needs) and want to have your voice heard? To help raise awareness of issues affecting young people and be involved in planning and running youth projects locally? Then the GYG committee is for you.

We meet weekly on a Thursday from 4pm. Get the chance to work with others, give your views, talk and discuss life, the world and everything else in between.

GYG Committee is for young people aged 13-19 years, up-to 25 years old with additional needs.
