 Free sanitary wear for young people 


Following Government advice, we are adapting our youth services.

Any young women needing sanitary products can now call our Youth Worker Stacey confidentially on 07856 474 595 or email and access free sanitary items. Tampons, sanitary towels and underwear are all available too.

We are the first youth hub in Kent to be part of the Red Box Project. A national initiative set-up by volunteers, which aims to see free sanitary products in schools and youth projects across the UK.

In 2018, it was reported that 1-in-10 young girls cannot afford to buy period products leading to many missing school as ‘period poverty’ is on the rise across the UK. We think it is essential that all young girls and the adults supporting them know there is help on hand if they need it. 

The Red Box Project restocks the supplies regularly, and is funded by public donations via their website. Find out more:
